Dr. Funmbi Babalola is a Pediatric Endocrinologist and Osteologist at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at The University of Western Ontario. She is an Associate Scientist at London Health Sciences Research Institute.

Dr. Babalola joined Children’s Hospital, August 2022. She completed her Doctor of Medicine in 2016 at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. She completed her 3-year general pediatric training at The University of Western Ontario in 2019, and, 3-year pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto in 2022. She completed a Master of Science through the Institute of Medical Science and Clinical Investigator Program at the University of Toronto in 2022. Dr. Babalola’s research areas of interest are diabetes and disorders of calcium and bone. Dr. Babalola is currently principal investigator in active clinical trials in Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Achondroplasia and Hypochondroplasia. She also has several ongoing research in skeletal fragility and skeletal dysplasia.
