Dr. Anne Marie Sbrocchi

Dr. Anne Marie Sbrocchi is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at McGill University and Division Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She also serves as an Academic Clinician within the McGill University Health Centre and as a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist at Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada.
Her clinical and academic work focuses on children with complex endocrine and bone disorders, integrating patient care with translational research and medical education. She has played a key role as a site investigator in clinical trials for rare bone diseases and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, including studies on novel therapies such as vamorolone and setrusumab.
Dr. Sbrocchi’s research emphasizes osteoporosis in medically complex and neuromuscular populations, as well as osteogenesis imperfecta, contributing to multicenter studies and clinical registries that improve care pathways and outcomes. Her work has been recognized with honors for excellence in clinical care, education, and leadership, reflecting her commitment to innovation, collaboration, and improving quality of life for children with rare and chronic conditions.
